Somebody needs to be silenced, you silence them. A guitarist for a local band says he needs help figuring out where his band mates disappeared to after a suspect meeting with a cult? You find them.

All for the right price, of course.

This all happens in a world where corporations run the show. Even nations lucky to still have sovereignty, likely answer to a massive corp. People chasing immortality live out their days in Iðunn Shells, if they can afford it. Others live out their days solely plugged into cyberspace while their meat bodies wither away.

End of Line is a short CRPG experience using the Cities Without Number SRS rules. The main story will have you working alongside one of the best but washed up detectives and one of the best guitarists in the capital city of the New England Colony to solve a missing persons case.

not many cases went cold when she was on the case. however, a case very close to her got away from her and she’s never recovered. turning to the bottle, anger and obsession she was removed from the force. now she lives her days out at Terminus.

You’ll meet others on your path, maybe picking up the odd job for them. You’ll be faced with choices to make. Those choices may lead to a fight, so you’ll fight. Your path may lead you into cyberspace, where daemons and AIs rule the roost. However, all of these diversions will never stop you from your main contract: Find the missing band.

This story will bring you closer to Jimmy the Guitarist and the formerly renowned detective Myra Holt. You all have your own motivations for solving this crime. You’ll explore their stories, how they got to where they are and help them through the events to come.
